they all damage your hair, but my guess is the ceramic one is the best. use a protecting spray before you use the iron so you don't burn your hair.

I personally like the gold n hot because it has a dial on it for temp. control and they survive through all my toting them around Gods green earth and dropping them on the tile floor.
I don't like Helen of Troy AT ALL!! They don't get very warm and seem to short easily. They feel like a toy in my hands.
I don't have experience with the ceramic CONAIR...but ceramic is generally nice because it won't have any hot spots on it and it wont "grab" your hair. So you will have minimal damage.

Ceramic conair , all my friends and i recommend it, my hair is naturally straight but for special occasions i curl it

Anything ceramic is best, they tend not to dry your hair out so much.
