That's a great idea. Maybe you should make it your lifes work to breed elephants down to the size of a dog. It may take a few thousand years, but you have to start somewhere!

No, just like all the other wild animals people insist on owning, this would also not be a good idea. I think we should stick to the domesticated animals as pets. Plus, don't you think we've already given elephants enough hassle? Killing them for ivory, putting them in circuses, making them give people rides at carnivals.....leave the poor things alone and admire their beauty in the wild.

Well. some people do train elephants!!!!! Try visiting a different country. But seriously people do. And ever animal has its part to play. Thats why they arent smaller!

You can't just "make them smaller". And plus, they would go poo in the house. Imagine cleaning that up!
