I'm putting together an anthology of 15 or so stories and intend to publish it through the lulu.com system. As it's publish on demand there are no upfront costs and no guarantee it will make money but it will get your work published.

There would have to be a mutual agreement on how to share - it's more about getting work into print. The lulu system guarantees no upfront costs like vanity publishing so it would also depend how many people the writers could get to buy a copy. It won't make anybody rich.

I think it'd be very difficult for someone to trust that a total stranger will submit work and not claim it as their own since it would be very difficult and probably costly for anyone to dispute it.
I'd have said yes and sent you something but I am naturally suspicious of this sort of thing; if something looks too good to be true it probably is. If you have enough material of your own to do this then good luck. Let us know if it succeeds.

It is hard making money out of writing stories but if you just enjoy writing then its a lot of fun.

How do you arrange any money to filter back to the writers?
