If the Democrats truly believe Hillary is a good candidate why not get some people out of prison so her staff and running mate can be of the same caliber as her?

Hillary is considered a viable candidate because she has a strong resume, experience in government, and she is a tough broad capable of dealing with the rough-and-tumble world of politics.

It's also because not many non-Republicans believe all the right-wing myths and slander about Hillary. Seriously, some of my Republican friends think she is practically the anti-Christ and that she has had her political opponents murdered in the past.

That said, Hillary is slipping in the polls among Democrats. In the latest Iowa polls she places third, behind Edwards and Obama. My personal perception is that this is because many Democrats have noticed Hillary's obvious recent efforts to appeal to conservatives, even if it means contradicting her previous positions on certain issues. It's the same thing that turned off many Democrats about Kerry and that is turning many Republicans against McCain. I also think many Democrats are realizing that Hillary is a hard sell, and that many conservatives and a good number of independents would never vote for her in a million years.

Which one thinks that???

If she sets in the office and follows Bill's instructions that might be OK Bill Clinton was the best Republican President since WWII. His most successful act was running as a Democrat. Many Blues still can't figure that out.

Gosh Hector why did we lose all them good Union Jobs.

i'm a Republican yet as long as bill Richardson become born contained in the U.S. he has each and every correct to run for President and in my opinion he's there extra sensible decision. the reason he's not getting heard because the others have too a lot money and massive mouths. Hillary-no longer because she's a lady, she's a socialist Barack-no longer because he's black, he's too eco-friendly Edwards-I accept as true with that one.

I don't like Hillary, but she has experience in the Senate, a husband with massive fund raising ability, and is "supposedly" moderate. That's why she's a viable candidate.

Cute little joke there, did you read that on a popsicle stick or something?

Been tested before. Has clout. Together with Bill, wrote a few good books and made themselves some millions.

They know the waters. Let's get back to basics.

Let's have a balanced budget once and for all.

Because she is going to play to the "middle" of America (meaning seem to be more moderate) while all the peopl on the left know she is in their hip pocket. I'd rather have Bill back in office before her.

Aren't Democrat and "viable candidate" a contrast of terms?

Because they don't think the Clintons have done enough damage to them.

Bill comes into office with the DNC in control of the house and senate. Leaves with the GOP in control

It take 12 years and still they don't have the majority they once had.

Her health care plan sunk them once.

I guess democrates really want another 8 years of GOP rule.
