A few thing that I can remember are:
Base ten number system including the number zero.
Many indigenous languages. Also many European languages are based on Indian languages.
Home to religions such as Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism.
Ancient Ayurvedic medicine.
Had the earliest known civilizations along the Indus Valley.
Chess, called Shatrunj.
They now say that the next major invention in the world will come from India, solely because of the higher levels of education the population is getting now along with the economic power it is gaining. I think any major inventions to come now will only be a result of cooperation among many nations or companies - take for example the attempt to create a fission nuclear reactor which is a cooperative effort between many countries such as the US, Canada, England, China, France, India, Japan and many others.
Rather then ask what India has invented, you would probably get more current answers if you ask what have Indians, living abroad, invented.

Indians invented our modern numeric system that replaced roman numerals. Aryabhatta, from India, created the concept of 0 before anyone else. Indians also did a lot of work in astronomy and some believed in a heliocentric solar system much before Copernicus or Galileo. Indians are famous for religious toleration, rich culture, exquisite architecture, beautiful and unique flora and fauna, and recently the rapid economic growth that is shocking the world.

The system of numbers we use are originally from India, but made their way to us through Arabic (that's why we call them "Arabic numerals" even though they technically aren't.) Astronomy was always big in that part of the world as well, I believe.
Then there's the traditional medical system they have, Ayurvedic medicine.
