Well I can't say for every girl but I'll tell you what happened to me. I remember getting some very bad stomach cramps one day and had to stay in bed the whole day. I talked to my mum about it and she said my period was coming soon. Then about a week later I got some brown blood in my pants, and then the next day I got some blood. My first period was very short, I think it was only about two days, but then they gradually got heavier and regular.
When I got my first period my cramps were worse than all the other times, but of course it's different for every girl. Hope this helps.

she wont feel it...she'll just go to the bathroom and see a brownish reddish discharge in her panties. dont worry..and talk to your mom
