we have caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people in Iraq as a result of our direct interference with that country.cant we at least acknowlegde that? it may be insurgents but still because of us.it helps so much to absolve the guilt by laying the blame on insurgents doesnt it? What will it take for us to just shut up and accept (like the germans ) what we have done. an invasion of this country from coast to coast?

They don't have conscience, because if they did they wouldn't go to sleep comfortable at night. remember the best pillow at night is a clean conscience!!

Of course it has a conscience! That is why it demonstrates courage and determination in acting on its belief that what is being done, must be done. To have that kind of courage and determination is, at the very least, admirable. And in either case, anyone from those "other" parts of the world are either terrorists, harbouring terrorists, or make deals with terrorists anyway, so who cares how many of them die. To look at their so-called plight, and not acknowledge the safety of your own country, that America's actions strive for, is NOT courageous and certainly NOT honourable. If anything, it's opinionated treason.

If you think too many people have died since we've been in Iraq who do you think the people our boys are killing are? Its not the common peacloving Iraqi.
What about the Zunis and Shias fighting eachother in the streets and making life unlivable for the regular people? You think its better to have a country in turmoil controlled by Iran and full of tribal factions frighting for bloody dominance?

Actually...We have TOO MUCH conscience !! Does your conscience bother you that more young men are dying in California than in ALL of Iraq ?? Would your conscience bother you while saddam was murdering thousands of children and you did NOTHING ?? Muslim radicals will murder each other with or without us...Always have,Always will...look at HISTORY !! I was THERE,in Baghdad,and SAW these things,and SHOT terrorists at every opportunity,and when I go back to my unit in March 07 ,I will go right back to it !! Those of us who REALLY know what is going on know it is a necessary thing,to give my life if needed...to defend the clueless LIKE YOU !!

71% of the Americans have a conscience. Cheney the pres and his talking chimp W don't. They don't care about their legacies ( they both have said this ) they say the dissenting Repubs in their own party are "aiding and abetting the enemy" ( who is the enemy by the way? Didn't he just hang), that the Dems are communists and the 71% American public opinion doesn't count. So yes we have a conscience, the 'leaders' don't.
