I love tennis and it is my favorite sport although it doesn't get all that much attention in the U.S with all the variety of sports they have here. The reason I love this sport so much is because it takes a lot of stress from you. Clearing your mind and hitting the ball for a while against one of your friends or at a competition is a very good way to relax, be at ease with yourself, and just have fun:) Plus you get a very great cardio workout and maintain in shape. Many people think this sport is so easy to play and be good at. But its not, its just the professionals make it look so easy. It takes a lot of effort, working out, and being physically and especially mentally fit. Plus this sport is a lofe-long sport. You don't need an entire team like football, soccer, baseball, or basketball to play..all you need is two to have fun at any age. What I also love about this sport is the abilty to play doubles. Two against two is always more exciting as you and your partner work together to see how the opponent can be beaten. But most importantly its just fun seeing all the crazy shots, the laughter you share after a goofy one, and the excitment you feel when you've just won a very decisive point. For all these reasons I love this sport!

Well, I am crazy over the game, but I am really a lousy player. I can place the ball pretty well, but my backhand stinks. I have been watching tennis for about 40 years now & as long as I can see, will continue doing so. My daughter just won the very first tennis scholarship given out by her highschool a couple of years ago. She may use this to attend the college/university of her choice. She never started playing tennis until she was 14 and is a little bitty girl with a mean backhand. Her father & I almost fell off our seats when she was awarded this. We actually thought that another girl was going to receive it. Her father is a very good player & had a lot to do with her learning and playing this sport. It is a great sport to watch and participate in.

I like to play tennis but it isn't my favorite sport. After you learn the rules, it is a fun and challenging sport. You need athletic ability and outsmart your opponent by hitting it to their weak spots. It only takes 2-4 players and limited equipment. It is a good workout and I've played matches that have lasted over 3 hours long. It is a sport that can be played throughout your lifetime.

I love tennis! Fun to play and thrilling to watch. It's one of my favorite sports, but I like playing Volleyball better. Otherwise Tennis is the best one to watch, especially if your fave players are playing. I miss the Tennis already. :(

I do because i play it myself not well but i have fun. Great way of getting the heart going. I like watching it provided the match doesn't go too long. Got a short attention span and i get bored. Roger Federer is my favourite player at the moment and female would be Maria Sharapova. ; )

Well I think the tennis players on TV and Youtube have to be bigger because the people playing on those courts are pros and they can play on those sized courts. Or I think it might be from the angel and the height the camera is, so then it might make it look bigger when you watch it.

Yea, I love watching tennis but only if its singles not doubles and I enjoy playing tennis, but the problem is I am not very good at it.
