If your periods are less than 23 days apart - then you should see your gynecologist. There could be many reasons why this is happening - polyps, thyroid issues, hormone levels or breakthrough bleeding around the time of ovulation. It happens to some women around the time of menopause too. If it happens regularly I would get it checked out.

yes, you can, i have a friend who gets them every 2 weeks instead of every month. if u talk to ur doctor u can probably get birth control that has the added bonus of less periods! but if you don't want to go on birth control, there's not really anything you can do about it. it's not unhealthy unless its causing other problems, its just uncommon.

it can happen depending on that women cycle and how many weeks are in a month.every girl body is different so alot of issues can sometimes seem like a lie or crazy just because its not that common.but its very possible.
