You're female? If yes, go in a long flannel blue nightgown as Wendy in "Peter Pan." Or, you could wear a short black skirt, white blouse and Mary Jane shoes as Madeline. Want something a more elaborate? Go as one of the "Little Women," "Anne of Green Gables," or Laura or Mary from "Little House on the Prairie."

Do you mean literature character?

What kind of books/stories do you like?

Classics: Skirt, blouse, sweater- Miss Marple (mysteries)
Long skirt (to your ankles), blouse, sweater, straw hat- hair in braids (Anne of Green Gables or Laura Ingalls)

Contemporary: Jeans, t-shirt, ball cap (one of the girls from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants)

Sci Fic/Fantasy: Dark pants, white blouse, tie, cape (Hermione Granger- Harry Potter stories)
