Simone fouled him and then from the floor Beckham petulantly kicked him, not particularly hard, and got us knocked out of the World Cup. No question that it was a red as the Laws stand and that he was an idiot, but in terms of the damage inflicted to the body Simone's challenge was far worse! Beckham was vilified in the UK for a good couple of years after that but I was very impressed that rather than sulking or running off to Spain or Italy he stuck it out and won over the boo boys by playing really well for both Man U and England. He's not the sharpest tool in the box but he's still a decent player, and if someone offered you a 500% pay rise to do the same job elsewhere, wouldn't you accept it?

The guy he kicked was Diego Simone, who fouled him then kicked him when he was on the floor!!! David then kicked him slightly then he pretended to be shot!!! Becks shouldn't of reacted though.

because the guy is a sore loser, he cant control his temper on the footie pitch, he thinks he is too big for his boots and when Sumone says sumthing to him on the pitch, the only way he can react is by using violence, how selfish is that
