I don't blame anyone. Ultimately it is up to the woman to have a clean home, however, there may be circumstances that has caused her to not be able to clean it.

It's not just the "womans" job Sandstorm. If she lives alone, then ya. If she lives with a guy, and has a family, it should be a group effort to help do all the chores. In your country I'm assuming the women stay home, raise the kids, do the cooking, cleaning, and feel shamed by their husbands. This is the United States where everyone is equal. ~~~~~

Not always
I have a very messy hubby and three kids and I am only going to clean a room once a day and if they come along right after I clean it and mess it up I'm not cleaning back up until tomorrow (the only exception is the kitchen, that gets cleaned at least twice a day)

It's not the woman's job to keep the house clean, it's up to the whole family. What is up to the mother and father is to get the kids involved. They need to help too.

Haha!! right here we've a Sandstorm, yet no longer unavoidably THE Sandstorm. all and sundry who judges or blames without even considering the artwork schedules, family contributors conduct and extra... isn't as clever as they might declare to be.

I think most people automatically blame the female, but that isn't always fair and is certainly sexist. I would blame the female if I knew for sure that she and she alone was solely responsible for the cleaning of the house.

it is NOT the woman's job to clean anything!!! its both couple's job to keep the house clean!!! the man \, nor the woman have "slave "written on their forehead!!! i can understand switching and a certain person in the house may have certain responsibilities, but its ridiculous to have just on person do the cleaning. same goes for cooking, repairs, All chores, lawn care, and taking care of the family. that's every ones job. as a matter of fact i find that comment pretty sexist...

I am a housewife, so if the house gets messy, then I guess I am to blame, but my husband does help me around the house and with three kids and three dogs, it sure doesn't take long for it to get messy again. It's neverending.

You know, as a Long Term Single Parent, and one who had to WORK HARD for HER income (which was the ONLY income that MY children were raised upon) ... more than anyone else ...
This is a REFLECTION on the LACK of Cooperation and DISRESPECT that the Household members show to the Woman in HER HOME than anything else. They are lazy, they don't want to HELP her (especially since she is the ONLY one working all the time anyway), and they disrespect HER property and what HER income provides.

If they have kids- i blame the kids first, then i blame the parents EQUALLY for not teaching kids to pick up after themselves.
I think if a house is a mess its equally Everyones fault unless you see the majority of the mess is mainly girly thing or mainly mens things.... otherwise.. who cares, I clean my own house and if people cant clean theirs i just dont return there.... dont worry about whos fault it is, thats there problem not mine!

No because if I go in someone's house I am usually close enough to them to know their situation and would know who's fault it was. Most women work now too and both should be responsible for cleaning.
