I already have a ipod video, but I want an ipod nano (2nd generation) Should I give my ipod video to my dad and get the ipod nano?

I have a nano which I chose to get over a ipod video. I like it alot, mines 8gb. The only advice I can give is buy some sort of case for it as the screen gets scratched very easily.
If I had the choice I'd choose a nano again.
Their great.
But the video holds a lot more, and also videos and movies.
Nano's battery lasts longer and unless your on a long journey,m you wouldnt have time to watch a movie on your video, and the battery would probably run out anyway whilst your watching it.

That depends entirely on how much you use your video iPod.
The 2nd gen Nano only has 4GB memory and so you can't store as much information.
If you don't use your iPod often and think that your dad would would enjoy it more, then buy a nano. If you enjoy Podcasts and more information, then just keep it.

Get the recent ipod video nano. It is equipped in 4GB (one thousand songs and four hours of video) and 8GB (2000 songs and 8hrs of video) I were given mine some days in the past and become skeptical, yet I honestly like it. I initially needed the second one technology one, yet this one is one thousand cases extra effective. The decision is fantastic and that i already placed 6 music video clips on it and that is so crystal sparkling and sharp. The music high quality is tremendous as well. I also wasn't effective about the length, notwithstanding that is way smaller than i concept it would want to be, as well as really basic to cope with.

keep the video. it holds more songs than nanos and u can put videos and movies on it. a nano would be a waste of money in my opinion.

the Video has all of the features of the Nano so why would you get something less?

nano, battery lasts longer, cheeper. you can still download videos to your computer,i mean, when would you ever have time to jsut sit down and watch a movie on your iPod???
