So, for science class, we have to make a flip-book, showing movement. For mine, I am showing how a person breathes to sing. Showing how their stomach starts flat, then takes in air, then quickly lets the air out to produce proper vocal sound. Is this a good idea? Other kids are just showing like a bug moving across the floor.

I think you are trying WAY too much for this little project and making it hard for no reason. In animation things have to be exagerated to show motion and unless you are really good at drawing how do you see creating the images? A sunrise, a car going accross a street, a flower growing, thats what you should draw, and get it done with. YOu dont have to make singing part of EVERYTHING.

Your idea sounds cute. Show the stomach expanding and then show air blowing out through the mouth, and you should have a good project.
