A friend of mines baby had it and she kept him in the sun for a certain amount of time and it went away. She did the same thing when he had a diaper rash. Took diaper off and let the sun dry it up. Don't leave the baby in the sun for a long period of time. Maybe 15 min daily or take a walk on sunny days.

Baby acne, common time for onset--it will go away. All of those mommy hormones that were circulating in her system are now completely going away which can trigger skin issues like what you describe.

In the meantime just keep her face clean--a warm washcloth with a tiny bit of baby soap will do the trick...do this twice a day.

It will go away on it's own. It's called infant acne, and is very common. It's caused by the mother's hormones and as they taper off they flare up and go away.

It sounds like eczema. My son has it. my doc gave him cortizone cream at 6 months. I dont know about before that. have your doc look at it. In the mean time it's important to keep it very moisturized. Aveeno makes good products.

Its just a phase they go through. It will eventually go away. Theres really nothing you can do. Every baby gets it.
