I am due with our second child in mid February. I breastfed our first child for a few weeks, but ended up switching to formula after having a lot of problems. So, we are planning on formula feeding this time around. My question is, do I need to bring formula and bottles to the hospital? Or do they provide that for me? I have a few cans of Enfamil I received in the mail and would like to start our baby off on it.

They have preprepared bottles there for you you don't need to bring anything. But obviously you can bring your own if you want them to have a particular brand.

The hospital will provide formula. When I had my son they had similac advanced. So you might want to take the enfamil if thats what you want to feed just in case they don't have it.

They gave me enfamil at the hospital. You can take yours just in case but they probably have it there.

Every hospital is different. You'll need to call your maternity ward and ask them yourself. Sorry i couldn't help more. Our hospital provides it, but the hospital next closest does not. Two different regions though, two different rules.
