I prefer 15.4, but 14 is alright.

17 is too big to carry, to be honest.

Well from a teenagers point of view, yeah i think its ok but if your a professional type of guy i think after you buy that screen go on properties-settings and change the screen resolution from there to make the screen look a lot bigger thats the advice from me!

No.. I dont think its good. Its not wasy to carry a laptop on laps if it is 14" screen. Your work has no privacy. Say in car, while you are travelling, it would be a problem.. etc etc..

not a bad size. I use a 10" for portability and a 16" for serious stuff

If you wan't portability it is. If you don't care because you love dragging heavy weights around, you want MORE screen real estate. I like 14" myself.

It's a good enough size for viewing and for storage in a backpack or messenger bag.

I recommend it. because I have a 19" And its hard to carry it around WITHOUT THE BAG.
