"The Witness"
I can see his bullet
it's dark there's no one
Oh Lord i sit nearby you
Nearby

I want the strength to start again
it's alright to fail and fall
but to have never tried is the
closest i can say is sin

How many times must one be broken
before you can take your hands
and mold dust and bones

Breathe life back into this death
that i've become
body without soul
how long must i go

As the years fade
25 has passed and so has suicide

well, i checked all the poetry sites i know but i couldn't find anything. where did you find it? Published or handwritten on a paper? Maybe someone wrote it and forgot it? Another alternative that comes to my mind is that it can be quoted from a novel. I mean maybe it was the part of a novel or something.

Can't find it. I looked it up and found a lot of poems titled The Witness but it wasn't this one. I even typed in the words. Sorry. I tried.
