No, I think imagination is an ingredient of freedom. Or at least I would say, a lack of imagination would render freedom pointless. If you set free a prisoner who had no imagination, he would just willingly spend the rest of his life in his open cell. He might not be happy with that, but he would never think of anything better to do.

Ones Imagination takes them places that they would never go if no for it. Your imagination is real. Real in the sense that it deals with a part of your being which is spiritual. You can feel it. It then is manifested in your real live. It is up to you to make it happen. Where do you think creativity begins. Though many of us are captive in this society in which we live we are able to break loose from it VIA our imagination. We can create. In health if you are not able to create or appreciate creativity you are not healthy.

I would say false. Without imagination we are pretty much stuck without a way of exploring, expanding, what if-ing...that would be like being in a cage.
