Hi I hope you all the best. Here in Texas we have a program called HUD or HUDD it help low income families . I don't know where you are but there is also other programs in our area that is call self help housing where you help built you own home other families needing housing pitch in and help each other very low notes.I think there may be special programs for you because of your daughter's condition. You may want to type in low income housing in a search engine looking in your area and see what pops up.

Well for the poor section 8 housing is available. Be slective on location. Also a friend of mine got in quicker by showing up at 7 am on a particular day the social worker told her to. Otherwise it takes months.
