I've been really close to this guy since we've been little. He's pretty much a brother to me. We've been there for each other through everything and we know we can count on each other! He's been kinda different lately....when i said something about calling him my brother, he looked at me and repeated it and kinda sat there like he was thinking....I don't know if he likes me as more than a friend or if it was just a brain freeze. I really can't see him like that because of how close we are....how do i get my point across without totally distancing myself and ruining our tight friendship?

Maybe you're sending him mixed messages. Check your body language and what you say to him. Do you act girlfriend like around him or act like a buddy? You're going to have to be honest with him. He cares a lot about you so you won't lose him. You just need to be honest so that if he does want to be with you...he can move on instead of waiting for you to be ready.

Don't say anything unless he tells you he likes you as more then a friend, directly. But if he does then you have to be honest. Tell him you like him as a friend and you can't see him as a boyfriend. Tell him you really don't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship and that most girlfriends and boyfriends will come and go but friends are forever.

be truthful with him, tell him he will always be a good friend, like a brother you never want to loose.it will be a wake up call, and he will not want to loose you either. If he really cares for you, things won't change. Other wise if you stop seeing him,you could loose someone that is special to you.

so you really don't like him any more that a brother think about it. but if you still feel he is like a brother, then being the good frens you are,the two of you sit down and talk about how both of you feel and figure a way to deal with it together.
