The Pope sped up the normal process for Mother Teresa, so can't he bend the rules again for Reagan?

A devout Christian, Reagan was raised in the Disciples of Christ church. Yet, the Protestant president was open to other faiths, especially the Catholic faith.

It was not possible for Reagan to deny the truth and valued example of John Paul II his teachings on Peace. The Pope had a great role in the Perestroika and Glassnost movement in Russia as well as his role in the Solidarnost movement in Polland. He was the true Freedom facilitator. Ronald Reagan was in the other side of the spectrum on this issues. Poeple don't understand the importance of the Pope on those issues. Reagan increased arm proliferation and coldwar strategies while the Pope with his diplomacy achieved more.

Who cares what one "man" bestows upon another "man"? The pope needs to come out of his multi-million ivory tower and behave more like the Christ he claims to serve/represent versus the emperor of Rome.
