Hell Yeah! Amazon.com has some real modern beauties..last time I visited I saw rainbow colored ones (almost blew me away) for anly $35. I'm talking hot pink,loud purple,red...fine,wild colors -I was like wow! I can't play well,but I love the string instruments-I bought a viola for $150 five years ago(off the internet)-it makes me feel like an old school girl again.

Yes, but it takes a lot of practice to get all the notes sounding good & not like a wounded animal squeeling.
