State of Society?

Is it deteriorating? Is it improving? Why?

I think it is deteriorating, but perhaps it is supposed to.If it stagnates it is not growing, therefore it deteriorates. My generation has failed the next one by not forcing them to take responsibility for what they do, or not do, letting them think it is someone Else's fault. Overall we failed to teach them self-respect, let alone respect for others. We made them greedy and abusive, the 'me' generation. I've heard that the Roman Empire also started to fail when they turned their attention to themselves . Cooperate greed and power struggles stamp on the very ones who make production possible. Power corrupts as much today as ever it did for Hitler, the Roman Senate, King Herod in Bible times. We forget to be individually responsible, corporately responsible, socially responsible. (This won't matter, once!)(Ex. the US no longer used DDT because it is not good for us, yet we still export it to third world countries, apparently it's okay for them?). Worse, I don't know the answer, the fix, or any way to stop it, except one person at a time, one decision at a time and not by law, but by heart caring for others.

To suggest that "society" is deteriorating or improving implies that society is moving in a direction, i.e., backwards or forwards. It isnt.

Society is simply a grouping of individuals, which is characterized by common interest and may have distinctive culture and institutions.

"Society" may refer to a particular people, or to a broader cultural group. Society can also be explained as an organized group of people associated together for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes.

There's no particular direction, good or bad, that these organizations of people are moving in. This brings up the whole idea about time, as well as societies place in it. Time itself doesnt move either. It's not "marching on" to some future destination. Likewise, "society" isnt going forwards or backwards on its journey towards deterioration or improvement.

It is deteriorating, there is a constant input of false information. This information says that we don't have to do, say, work, try, or something else to get to where we need to go. Therefore the number of people that are taking the wrong road to success is increasing. The failure rate is increasing and the disadvantage numbers are growing.

there are no ways to get the same information base that carnegie has unless u do the crunch that get'er done_we all want to know what is going to hap[pen when big brother doesn't have the balls to play smash mouth and high roller and big spender and totally in control and makes you believe in the american way of life all at once, as we grow wedivide our intimate needs and reside in location of protective devises-where can this sociaty go that hasn't been plundered by the quick & the dead-the rules are lost the battles have been stall mates and the link to anywhere is subject to change-be it known that the rich will make fools of those who have to bend with the financial desisions of stupid people who fear motivate-thruths that we c now is that corporation and industrialist have big brother hand and they rule with cheap needs to offset humogious doubts of false profacies and blantant opressions-this is dignafied only when there is a grey area to feed others the shiiity end of the stick-so it doesn't appear that it is contagious and spreading stupid into the waiting hands of the delivierer of even worse guilt trips to be more oppresive than the cold wars we lived with for forty years, and the dead space of limitations foster creating this communication link to the past that isn't coming through with a plan-please submit plan and the people will rejoice the lost fading glories of the endless false promises and wars that drained the coffers of america-we have this pieces of paper to reprosent our social secuity-and that was fabricated by the war monger think tank to get more money to spend more money so-why not raid a corporation-steal the assists stack it in the right spot in the stock market and prey-that was the last thing we needed was to be raided by offshore & enron as the indicators of a planets survival of thieves-the past twenty years really appear to be a waste of all that long haul that america was going to lead ended up a bank robbery- and the rich are different in there approach to who is going to survive-they took a hard look and are bring up mexico to replace america cause its cheaper and as long as you have money to spend it will buy cheaper till u are dead and that is figured in to the senerio too-u know what u know
