Im respectful, try to be funny, I'm always nice to her other children. But she doesnt act like she likes me. I don't think I've given her a reason not to like me and she hasn't come out and said anything to me about it but there are some definate hints that she would prefer me not being around or calling. Is there a way I can get her to like me at least a little.

Any girl that goes out with your boyfriend sounds like the "mother" won't approve. She needs to let go and let him live his life. Not much else you can do ..you've been polite., you've laughed.,smiled...been pleasant.....If she really gives you the evil eye and cold shoulder..I would very politely...ask her (after one of her subtle hints) is there something i've done to offend you?? If she answers No* then ask her why she feels she has to make you feel the way she does* You probably won't get a straight answer from her......but at least you tried to get it out in the open*(sometimes when ppl are dating....and you have a fight or something happens that upset the other...they don't mean to but vent it out to their mother , therefore gives her a reason to put her back up) But she needs to give it a rest......mind her own business and let you Two* enjoy your time together* If it continues to upset you...ask your b/friend if you can go back to your place, or go out somewhere rather than listening to his moms snide remarks...or even just to have the "feeling" like you're not welcome there. You can't have your b/friend choose between you and his mom cuz you won't win* It shouldn't have to come to that anyhow* HE sees what she's doing.....and if you try talking to her and get no where......talk to your b/friend..ask if he can find out what her problem is.* OTherwise......just let it go and don't let her upset you* Keep Being You* Keep on Smlin*

Some mothers think that no girl is good enough for their little boy. I would ask him what her problem is. There is no way that you can make someone like you but if you really love this guy you will have to tolerate her and she will have to tolerate you. Maybe you could just come right out and say, "Do you not like me?" and she will probably say yes but at least then she will know that you have noticed her behavior and maybe will be nicer to you in the future.

I dont think her liking you is really the issue here. I would imagine your guy likes you right? Thats really all thats important. Things may change in the future, but I wouldnt waste to much energy worrying about it.

oh babe i know how that goes!! i'm sorry but some moms are just bitchy and won't warm up to you whatever you do. you could try to bring her some flowers sometime or something but just always be nice and stuff and that's the best you can do!! sorry honey but hang in there!!

Mother tend to latch on to their sons when they get close to other woman. I don't know why. Don't worry yourself about her. Worry about the one you are with.
