Tell your friend you'll miss him/her. Keep in touch email, im, phone. Depending on the distance arrange meetings to catch up once and a while.
It's fun writing letters as old school as it sounds. I kept in touch with my friend through phone, im, and meeting up. It's so cool to recieve a letter in the mail from a friend. It's like having a pen pal. Again it all depends on the distance. Do not worry too much! Your life is not over because of this. You will get through this girl! Just keep in touch as much as possible! Your Question is not so Clear.
Is your friend moving for ever or he/she is just going for tour.
According to me from how much i get you question that ask your friend where they are moving ?Why? And for how long?
He/She will miss you or not?
If you friend is moving for ever then give Small gift as a memory dear. then no need to say anything Else that pal will understand what you wanna know.

view it as an opportunity for both of you to make new friends
if your parents know each other, maybe together y'all can arrange visits
if she's not moving far, offer to help
