I let my albino rabbit out of its cage and it started running around the room. Then he started to run really fast and he jumped and he had like a spasm in the air then he kept running around. His ears are also really red. Is something wrong?

Your rabbit is just feeling really good. His ears are really red due to his heart beating faster due to the excitement. When his heart beats faster it makes the heart pump more blood. When more blood is pumped, more goes to the veins in the ears and the ears turn red.

By more blood being pumped through the ears, it helps your rabbit cool itself. Since the ears are thin, it allows heat in the blood to be dissipated into the air and thus helping to cool your rabbit's body temperature so it doesn't overheat. You'll notice that your rabbit's ears will get red too when it is hot.

That spasm in the air is called binkying. Rabbits do it when they get overly excited. If you let it out of its cage he's simply just happy to be out and free to run around. It's perfectly normal and it's a good thing; it means your rabbit is enjoying its surroundings. As for the red ears you need to have a vet check those out. It could be anything from ear mites to an infection, which MUST be treated by a veterinarian.

He's just playing. Rabbits love to run and jump so when they do this it means they're really happy.

If his ears seem to be more red than normal, I would call your vet. If he is scratching his ears a lot it could be mites.

Kung fu. All rabbits know kung fu.
That's what my daughter's rabbit did too. It runs, then does a flip in the air, or bounces off the wall. It's hilarious. They do this in the wild to escape predators.
