What is run time error 53?

Question

I was running an update for Peachtree Accounting Pro from a CD that they send me for February update, once I click for it to update the error message popped up and said 'Runtime Error 53' What does it mean? and How do i fix it? However from the same Cd I was able to update the tax table without any error, but not the program update ( which gave me 'runtime error 53)

File required by the program to run is not found. Program needs to be reinstalled or missing file(s) need to be copied back to the computer.

Causes for runtime errors:
- Software issue
- Memory issue
- Computer virus
- Conflict with a running program

If your issue persists, it is possible that the program causing the runtime error may have issues. Go to the developer's web site to check for updates or patches that may be available for downloading.

If no patches or updates are available, uninstall and/or reinstall the program that is causing the issue.
