Unfortunately i don't know who the Brazilian artists are....but I'm sure they have alot of talent.....in as far as best/most talented singers go, i do think Mariah and Madonna have alot of talent yet i find that there are many artists that have a fantastic vocal range for different reasons. Aside from Mariah and Madonna, some other female artists worth hearing are :- Within Temptation, Amy Lee, Sarah MC Lachlan, Charlotte Church....(earlier stuff preferred)....
Male artists Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20),Garth Brooks, Phil Collins (Genesis) , Richard Marx, Chad Kroeger (Creed?), Gerard Way (MCR), Ben Folds, Emerson Hart (Tonic).........
I'm Also a fan of bands such as Mountain Goats, Beck, 30 seconds to mars, and Powderfinger, my taste in music is very eceletic, i would rather hear a good ballad from a singer with a strong clear voice, than from someone that screams or raps, where you are unable to hear the lyrics properly ......to me that isn't music.

My best singers are: Johnny Gill, Brian McKnight, Nicole Scherzinger, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, and Teddy Pendergrass.
