When I ran the upgrade advisor it said my printer has no compatibility data but the box said it would work with Vista. Also it said my cable modem and onboard video were not compatible. So if I upgrade to Vista will these work?

Printer will work.
Cable modem will work ( via RJ45).

The area for concern is the video card. If Microsoft says no to that I would get a new card before considering an upgrade.

As of right now, I'm sorry but they won't work.

The drivers for those objects run between the OS and the computer. Either wait untill the drivers come up or just don't upgrade to Vista.

Don't worry, you won't be left behind. Not everyone will be running Vista the day it comes out.

Don't do it!
Why "upgrade", and give even more $'s to Microsoft.
Go completely 'Open Source'.
Switch to a Linux operating system, with Firefox as a browser.
Cheaper, More Stable, Tons of free open source programs,
and far less chance of viruses & spy ware.
