When I worked as a temp. secretary at a multi millionaire's house in central London, the wife went beserk at the au pair for not folding the cashmere jumpers neatly enough in the zippered plastic bags in the bedroom drawers. She redid the lot. Fussy woman but that is the recommended method.

Hang it up and cover it with a plastice bag over the hanger. Or fold it and wrap in a bag in a drawer

hang them up but put a covering over the jumper (like when they come back from dry cleaners)

I would suggest tissue paper and a storage box of somesort.

Make sure that it is air tight or moths will get to it and ruin it.
