I'm pretty shy, and only had 1 boyfriend in my life (i'm 12) and that was when i was about 6years old!!! I'm also a bit ugly, because my face is crowded with freckles, and people call me a ginner (because i have ginger/ourburn hair) how should i get a boyfriend???!!!???!!!

Relax, some lads like Ginger girls! I think it simply isn't time for you to have a boyfriend. From the male perspective, I know I was not ready, though I thought I was ready for romance at your age.
I think if you relax and be yourself, all will work out.

To get a boyfriend just be your self. Forget about what you see as your flaws, and concentrate on your strengths. You are very young, so don't worry about not having a boyfriend... trust me they are more hassle then they are worth. If friends say they have boyfriends half are probably lying, the other half probably don't have serious relationships. At 12 what do you want from a relationship? I know at that age, I had lots of male friends but no boyfriends, and now at 21 it is still pretty much the same. I have had boyfriends but to be perfectly honest they were just jerks and it wasn't worth the hassle.
You may also find that your freckles fade as you get older, but foundation can always be used to cover them up... but actually most men I know like freckles as it adds character to a face. As to your ginger hair, well I know that is often an area to be teased on, but that will happen less too as you get older and leave school.
If you are still determined that you want o find a man, just be yourself, and exaggerate your best qualities, but don't lie!!! A relationship will not work if either of you are lying and you're more likely to get hurt.
I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for... just wait, it will happen... but it is honestly the truth. I promise you, you won't be single forever.

Oh you sound really beautiful to me, how on earth can you say your ugly because you have freckles and auburn hair, both are so beautiful, your only 12 right now and shouldn't be worrying so much about boyfriends but just having fun and enjoying your life, when you blossom into a young lady I will bet you all the guys will be sending you Valentines cards, until then just have fun and stop worrying so much and always remember you are beautiful.

before very much longer they will be knocking your door down to take you out

become older for a lot longer and wish you had done the things that you

12 i dont think i had a girl friend untill i was atleast 14 maybe 15 but some guys like freckles just give it a few years and enjoy haveing fun being a kid for a little bit longer you only get to be a kid once and also if im not mistaken you have to be at least 13 to use yahoo answers

You are still young and you have no need to be shy, just be yourself and enjoy your youth and when you reach 17+ then consider getting a boyfriend, but for now just enjoy your childhood. Also do not think so much about your flaws but enjoy all the best things about yourself and when the right person (boyfriend) comes along, he too will also see those good points and will love you even with your flaws.
So don't worry that you do not have a boyfriend now!!!

Honey, when I was your age, I had freckles, and in Jr. high school we had a week to where the students could buy these "Special Valentines" for those special someone's in their lives, and I surely didn't think anyone would dare by me one, because I was alot like yourself, I didn't think I was much to look at...... Well, I got the "Shock" of a lifetime!!! One of the most "Popular Jock's" at school bought me one of those special Valentines!! And I didn't find him my "Equal" at all, you know!! He then proceded to ask me out to one of his football games, and I went, and afterwards he walked me home, and began calling me, but I was still a virgin, and he later began spreading out his calls to me, and I found out later, when he just quit calling me all together, that it was because I wouldn't "Put Out!!" So, I was the better person for it in the long run, you know!! I kept my virginity, and didn't get my heart broken over a guy who would have probably just used me, and moved on to his next victim, you know.....So, in all honesty, he was the last person I really wanted a Valentine from, and I'd of been quite fine without one, all together, if "Strings" are attached with the card, you know....... Dont worry hun, you'll have plenty of time for those days, and for guys expecting something for doing something nice for you....Forget about all of that, and just be yourself, and dont put yourself down, hun!!! Remember, "God dont make Mistakes!!!" And Beauty is in the Eye of thee Beholder!!! And Beauty is also only "Skin Deep!!!" So, chin up, and carry yourself anyway you choose, because you my DEAR are not ugly!!! I promise you this!!! And in time when God feels your ready, you'll receive those Valentines, you'll see!!! For a start, you're only 12! Don't worry about it. You've got all the time in the world.
Anyway, at your age boys are much less mature than girls, so if you want a decent boyfriend, you're better off waiting until they all grow up!

Don't worry about it,just be yourself.Personally,I LOVE chicks with freckles !! Just be freindly ,and you will have freinds....some of them will be boys,and some of the boys will think you are pretty cool once they get to know you.
