I am holding the most current Peugeot catalog in my hand now. I see only a 1.4 HDi engine offered in the Peugeot 107. 54 horse power. 3 doors. This is a budget model, and I am guessing you get the usual 8 valves on 4 cylinders.
If you step up to the 207, you can then have the 1.6 liter petrol engine with 16 valves. OR the 1.6 liter diesel engine with 90hp, 5 doors, but no special mention of 16 valves.
PS. The text in this brochure has a misprint, stating that the 1.6 liter engine in the 207 has a 16 CYLINDER engine in a V form. I think they meant 16 valve, 4 cylinder in a V form. ???
