depends on how special she is to you, how long you have been together, and how much you want to spend.

For just starting to date, like maybe being together a month, flowers are a good option, or a box of heart shaped candy.

Maybe 6 months and starting to get serious one of the above and maybe a heart shaped pin.

For someone very special, jewelry and it doesn't have to cost a mint either, alot of the stores like Walmart and Target have nice jewelry at reasonable prices, very special would be more personal than 6 months, like a bracelet or necklace you think she'd like, pretty and sparkley.

For someone you are intimate with that is special, maybe a pretty negligee (nightgown, sexy one).

Most girls like pretty shiney sparkly things, cubic zircona jewelry is always liked.

If she's not into feminine things more tomboyish, then how about dinner out somewhere? or tickets to a movie or something you know she likes, even a cd by a music group she likes is cool.

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need ideas, here ya go:

It helped me come up with some ideas and stuff.

I do not understand why people stress over that question. You know your girlfriend better than anyone else (or you should). Why ask someone else what she would like? Listen to her, take her to the mall and HEAR what she says she likes. Take her to her favorite restaurant. Perhaps she'd like to see a certain musician. I am sure as long as you make the day about her she'll love anything you decide. God speed.

Flowers and treat her like a princess, love her. (Take her out to eat somewhere nice and have a good dessert after dinner with some champagne...THEN go for a walk and be all romantic, THEN go home for some fun!)

if she likes you, then honestly.... she would probably love anything you gave her, simply because its from you! just that you remembered her on v-day.
but.. i dunno if that was really helpful lol
um girls tend to like
-chocolate or maybe her favorite dessert
-sparkly things (jewelry is good)
-flowers
-love notes
-kisses
-stuffed animals
it depends on the girl, and how close the two of you are
