We are trying to plan a trip to San Diego from the Pasadena area. It would be fun to drive down part way and take the Coaster into San Diego the rest of the way. Please help with any info. TIA!!

It doesn't go to SeaWorld but it stops nearby in Old Town. If you take the Coaster to old town you can hop on the number 9 bus and it will take directly to Seaworld. Or if you want to take a nice bus ride through Mission Beach and Pacific Beach, you can hop on the 8 and it will take you through those communties then to SeaWorld. The 8 and 9 routes run the same loop bus route, just in diffrent directions; the 9 will get you to SeaWorld from Old Town quicker. If you go to www.SDCommute.com you can find ton's of info on how to get there and get around. If you click on "Extended Trip Planner" in the top left corner of the page you can enter in two addresses and it will tell you how to get from wherever you are to where you want to go using public transit.

No, the closest stop would be Old Town, about a $12 cab ride away. The bus system here stinks, so I wouldn't recommend that.
