How come when *ever* women don't get their own way they say that we're wrong?

Not what a woman wants? Does that really equal 'wrong'? I know it does to *all* the girlfriends I ever had, but does it in reality?

Most people do this, however I understand why women would be worse culprits.

Back in the day (we're talking stone age) a woman's only source of resources and protection was her mate. The male could go and get something himself, but the female would be less likely to be able to.

Therefore, women needed to put as much pressure on men into giving them what they needed, hence the anger of modern woman when she doesn't get her own way.

Also, men are a lot more independant than women, a man is a lot more likely to prefer to do something himself than rely on others to do it for him.

(why do I always talk about cavemen?? :P)

This thought was formed one time, years ago, when dealing with similar behavior. But I have to point some breakdowns in the question, as in some answers. Not "all" the women behave in the same way, as not all the men are equal. Thought on this:
"Every absolute, as this one itself, is erroneous."
When you states something in absolute terms, you are obviating that the facts of the life has many facets. What you have to say, for a correct meaning, is "Why this kind of women always say that is "wrong"? Also it is a fact of culture, normally in Spain women are strong enough to get what they believe is worth, just with never saying the man is "wrong". But when a mother say her son is "wrong", no other should try to say the same to her, or he/she might get the head broken.

Women, knowing men are physically more powerful, have to resort to mental games to make a man stay in line. It is their inborn cowardice that causes them to require they are always right. Basically, if you are a woman, and you fall into the majority, a man being right makes you feel you need to prove him wrong in order to keep abreast (no pun intended) or feel superior. Women fail to realize, however, that being wrong or right isn't a big deal for men. If we are told we are wrong, by a female, our attitude is one of "what ? Again ? Let's see how you would handle it then" or minor annoyance as if from a mosquito or gnat. Men are capable of rational thinking, women are not so they resort to emotional arguments. Rob Reiner is a woman, he makes his arguments all end in "...it is for the children" so people will not take a second look at the garbage spewed from his lips.

To be a man one has to accept that women feel they need an upper hand, so you expect a woman to tell you you are wrong. Listening to her is like trying to get wisdom from a tree. Proof that women feel they need an upper hand ? Most men have a sense of direction and can take cues from the surrounding area to determine their location. This frustrates a woman badly, she feels inferior (no surprise there) because she cannot figure out North East South West by looking at the position of the sun. In men, this is an inborn skill. So she wails that "We need to stop and ask for directions" in order to try and emasculate a man by telling him he is incapable of finding his own way around.

No, women wish to tell you you are always wrong, even when you are not, so they can feel superior, go ahead and let her do it, then, put her behind the wheel, fall asleep and let her find out how to get where your going. She won't admit she is lost unless she can throw in the line "Well, worthless over there just slept through it and was no help at all" you will understand when she says that, she not only admits her own shortcomings, but like a drowning man, wishes to take you down with her.

Life for women is constructed on feelings. A woman feels that the way to move forward is right or wrong. If we as men (think) that the way is not correct, the woman's response is that we are (wrong).

Women do not mean that we are incorrect, they have not considered the correct vs incorrect of the circumstance. JUST like we as a men have not considered the FEEL of the circumstance.

Not to come off all righteous, but there is a chance that more than one right answer exists in most cases, and the woman (just like the man), is opportunistic enough to choose the one that is best for her.

That likelihood, however, doesn't justify calling you 'wrong.' It merely suggests that you have views that are incompatible. Don't take it to heart.

Haven't you ever felt that the other person was wrong when they didn't let you get your way? This feeling isn't just limited to women, I've known men that wanted to say that the other person was wrong in the same kind of situation.

Women are always right. It's just a fact of life men will always have to deal with. Even if they know they're wrong, they'll make you see it their way, or make your life hell.

... Maybe it's a stereotype...? Or something older women do, because I'm 15 and NONE of my friends have done that nor have I seen anyone do that unless it's jokingly.

Not all women are like that. If yours is I would be on the lookout for something better. Asian women are said to be nothing like that.
