Brown eyes look great in grey, plum and pink tones as well as golds and burnt oranges. The intensity of color you wear depends on your skin tone. For a fair skin, use grey on the eylid, plum on the outer edge of the eye, and pink under the eyebrow. For a medium to deeper skin tone, the plum could be used on the lid and into the crease area. Colosé Safari Gold and Orient (deep plum) eyeshadow duets are perfect colors for you. Brown eyes can get away with anything really because we have the most neutral color ever ! so you should feel lucky that you have that color of eyes.
Tried and True: copper, bronze, champagne (soft pink with a touch of apricot), brown (for a doe-eyed look), beige, and khaki-greengold, bronze, khaki pewter ,navy blue, mauve pink and fleshy tones. (lighter shades add highlight)
I have light honey brown eyes
and I usually wear a pink eyeshadow on the lids and below the eyebrow and I usually where purple eyeliner ontop to bring out the brown in my eyes even more it really makes my eyes pop and I get compliments all the time .
And while it isn't specifically makeup tips for brown eyes, you may want to avoid blue eyeshadow too. There's the misconception that blue eyeshadow is "out", but like I said, it really depends on who's wearing it. Playing it safe would include skipping this color.
P.S.Brown eyes are beautiful. My friend who has blue eyes wants brown eyes because blue eyes can't wear all the eyeshadow colors that we can.

I have dark brown eyes too, and somertimes I wish I had lighter color eyes. To bring out your eyes or to make them pop,use a black eyeliner to line the inside of your bottom eyelid, then lie the inside of the to eyelid. Use shimmery eyeshadows in gold ,plum, brown, light green.Line the outside of the top eyelid. And apply at least two coats of mascara on top and bottom lashes.Hope it works for you.Lighten up on the eye make up during the day, but at nights go up a couple notch but not too much, you don't want to look like a clown, right? Also try and make those lips kissable by making them glossy.

I would say to use an olive color eyeshadow with a shiny light highlighting eyeshadow up near the brow and brown mascara.

What works for me is eyeliner at the edges (some smudge), eyelash curler, black mascara, pink, red, plum eyeshadows, bronzish blush, light lipstick and brown tops. Love this look makes my brown eyes sparkle.

Dark brown eyes are beautiful and rich. Use thin dark eyeliner and lighter eye shadows with lots of rich mascara...I just tried cover girl volume-exact mascara...and it is GREAT.

You can't change your eye color and you should accept it as it is! Dark brown eyes are beautiful, do you want to change with me? I have hazel eyes and I think dark brown is more beautiful, but see we all are as we are and we should be happy with it.

Why don't you try a really bright eyeliner. Don't stick to the basics which are brown and black. Go for brighter shades.
