Based on research- yes. Being in a relationship has a positive affect on a person's health. But, so does having a dog, cat, fish, and plant. Also so does eating healthy, and exercising. But, being a part of a community is a very important part of being healthy. Even if you are not in a "special relationship" you can still be a part of a community where you are known- I'm sure you can gain the same health benefits from being in community as being in a relationship.

Depends on their partners and why they are with each other ... sometimes they can be more healthy simply because having someone there takes the stress off ... other times having the wrong person there will put the stress on ... really just depends on the type of partner and the love they share

I wasn't. Not even close. I was never a more psychological basket case. If your relationship is good, there is nothing better, if it is bad, there is nothing worse.
