what will clubs like fabric do when the smoking ban comes in?

as we all know superclubs like fabric in london usually turn a blind eye to drugs...

and this also includes smoking cannabis. so when u cant smoke ciggarettes will they have to stop you blazing too?

will it not be stupid the bouncers going around stopping people smoking ciggarretes, but letting the guy next to him doing his class A's carry on happily?

thoughts? (save the "just dont do drugs" "just dont smoke" answers, its not the issue)...thanks

I don't know where you are from but in New York smoking in public places has been banned for years now. Doesn't matter what you smoke it is unlawful to smoke around others in a closed area. If the business can prove they have lost enough business to show a serious drop in sales they have to prove it to a judge and then they may have a designated smoking area, but that is only under very rare circumstances.

There will definately be rebels for about the first 2-3 months, then you'll notice people heading out in shifts to puff on whatever they be puffing on. All in all it will definately make the atmosphere inside alot more visible and healthy for those who don't smoke (ciggies.)

I THINK THEY WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS CAUSE EVEN PEOPLE WHO DONT SMOKE THAT MUCH LIKE TO WHEN THEY ARE DRINKING..
