I have always wondered... My parents and my older brothers say no. However, I was just browsing over a school website and it said that we have Freedom of Speech. Do we have all the other rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights?

yes they do.

There are federal court cases brought by minors with their parents for violations of due process rights.

Just the other week, we read about a case where a high schooler was suspended on suspicion of smoking marijuanna. The school board did not grant a hearing on the matter inter alia. The parents and minor sued in federal court and the kid was reinstated. The parents also sued for damages and the court ruled that constitutional rights violations do not warrant damages on their own, they must be accompanied by another tort.

Other examples are the kids who wore black arm bands in protest against the vietnam war. That went to the supreme court.

Let's not forget the two Brown cases either.

The 14th Amendment grants equal protection under the laws to citizens of the US. It says nothing about age.

My spouse receives new child help (0.5 the time) for my step-daughter. i believe what you assert, even though it is form of complicated to assert that the money it is shipped or deposited each and every 2 weeks must be accounted for. through the time you get nutrition, lunch money, outfits, college resources, stuff for events, and limitless different issues that each and anyone upload as a lot as way more desirable than what's received in help. Say you probably did use strictly new child help money for the stuff the youngster desires.... if the youngster desires nutrition and also you aren't getting new child help for yet another 2 weeks, do you're making the youngster wait? No, you take advantage of your human being money and get it, and perchance positioned it lower back even as the youngster help comes. the actuality is, maximum the individuals who do not pay are those that under no circumstances attempt to work out their little ones interior the first position. And see you later because the mummy is providing a roof over their head with nutrition on the table and garments on their lower back, the choose/equipment will under no circumstances question the mummy's judgements even as it is composed of the money.

To be honest this free country forgot to give children rights to anything. They have the right to eat, breathe, and have a place to call home. The gov. doesnt care about the situation or your feelings about it. If your not old enough to vote they dont think you should have an opinion.

I don't think that true "Constitutional Rights" apply until a child is considered an adult. Your school website is clearly in error, since the school dictates the limits of your "speech"!
