these girls at my skool are always looking at what people wear and i just don't understand why they do that. it's not like they like the clothes theand they compliment the people that are wearing them. all they do is make fun of them, for not dressing like they do. they are always asking me if i want to make fun of peoples clothing, but i always decline because i know it's wrong.
anyways do you watch what people wear to school? and if you do, why do you do that?

It's so wrong to make fun of other people's clothes. Especially in highschool, most kids don't get the money to buy the so-called cool clothes. And some of them just don't want to copy other people's style. People in general need to realize that not everyone can be like you or me. We're all different.

No. Clothes don't make the person, clothes just makes the person covered up. They are probably doing that because they think their clothes suck and they have issues with low self-esteem and confidence. Though it is human nature to want to judge other people's appearance, it is wrong. I don't pay attention to what people are wearing, but some people at my school do that too. It is very rude.
It is important what the person looks like on the inside, not the outside, and apparently, those girls aren't very pretty on the inside. You are totally right to ignore them and turn down their offers.

Not really. I might notice if a friend is wearing a cute outfit, but I really don't pay attention to that. I would never in a million years make fun of anyone for anything. I think that is cruel. Good for you for not joining in. Those girls must have pretty low self esteem. I know others like them.

I dont look at their clothes to make fun of them. I only look at peoples clothes to see something I like or want for myself! I am popular and preppy but I would never do that!! It makes the person who is making fun of someone look bad-I hate it when I see it being done-i deff. stick up for people constantly*

no, but if they are wearing something that is totally cute! that catches my eye, then ill probably compliment them on it and ask where they got it from, not that i could actually buy it tho, cuz they have it and that would just be totally wrong, its just against all the unwritten rules even if i absolutely love it, unless its like a tank or knit thats just plain and average cuz everyone has those, i just couldnt wear it the same way. < "unwritten rules"

Girls who do that are insecure about themselves. Its like when a girl sees a beautiful girl she will look her up and down until she finds one flaw like lets say ugly toes and she will exaggerate that as to make her feel better that the beautiful girl also has a flaw. Anyway girls who do that are insecure and so they divert the attention from themselves onto others. People who are happy with themselves just don't do that.
