London is busy and arty but not friendly.
York as suggested is architectural and nice.
Yarmouth is holiday type slow.
What do you want before we go through all the cities.

It depends on what you're looking for.If you like the hustle and bustle go to London.Otherwise there are plenty of other places to go to.
