I loved The Lorax the best just because I'm crazy about the environment and I believe that The Lorax is an amazing example of what can happen to our planet if we let our greed for money and business overcome us.

First off, I'd just like to say Dr. Seuss is a literary genius. I don't know of any of his work being poor and they are follow a similar compellingly rhythmic structure.

Overall though, I'd have to say "Green Eggs and Ham" would be the best in my opinion.

In the book, "Sneeches and other Stories" there's a poem called "Too Many Daves" that used to have my sons rolling with laughter. We can recite it at will. For myself, I liked the oldies about Bartholemew Cubbins and "The King's Stilts" (They're from before Dr. Suess got so hung up on making up made-up words and names--although I am pretty partial to " How the Grinch stole Christmas.")

I actually have two favorites;Thidwick the Big-hearted Moose and Hooray for Diffendoofer Day. I like the first book because it is about a moose which is one of my favorite animals. The second book is about a school and the creativity of its teachers. When I was teaching full timr, this was one of yhe books which we read to the children before they took their standardized reading test. It"s an amusing book and always relaxed the students..
