Not exactly. Iraq wants to "take back" Kuwait (and people who think this came off the agenda just because Saddam Hussein was deposed should do a little more research).

Iraqis say they have a historical claim to present-day Kuwait that the British and French did not take into consideration when they carved up the Middle East after WW2.

The present Iraqi Govt. is a puppet on the string of the Americans. Americans don't want to take over kuwait for oil. That was Sadam Hussain years ago when he invaded Kuwait. But that was not for oil, eiter. What do you think started the first gulf war.

Guess you should start watching the news and do some research on the net.

Um, I really don't think Iraq is thinking about taking over Kuwait right now. In case you missed it, they basically have a civil war going on right now.
