So I don't know what you have tried and whether or not you've been to a specialist or not, but if you are just starting out here is what I found out which I did not know.
Apparently, it's not as effective to have intercourse AFTER you've ovulated as it is to have it just BEFORE. I had always thought that once you knew you ovulated then you should have intercourse and if all went well you'd get pregnant. My OB told me that this was not the case.
The little swimmers need to be there WAITING on the egg--sorry to all the guys out there, you're waiting on us even before we're born!--so when you do ovulate the egg gets fertilized immediately. The egg needs to be fertilized while still inside the fallopian tube so that it is ready to implant itself by the time it travels down to the uterus.
This takes knowing your own cycle pretty well. If you can tell when you ovulate, and you have a regular cycle, then this should be fairly easy. Once I learned about it I got pregnant on the first try.
Good luck!!!

My second husband was a biologist/chemist. Count 14 days from the FIRST day of your period on a calander. If you want a girl start having "relations" 2-3 days before ovalation stopping day 14 & 15 (ejact.ion in the "pulled out" position=girl), relations resume day 16, 17, 18. If you want a son, begin relations on day 14, 15, 16 & 17. You MUST be sure your husband can control his ejact. b/c he must ejact. when his pen*s is completely inside of you as far as comfortable to you=boy. Male sperm xY can't live in our acidic vag*na for long, however they are the fastest swimmers, the female sperm xX are slow moving but very versitile & strong. If you have relations right before ovalation (day 12 or 13) the egg is just being released from your ovary so it's really high up in there making it harder for the male sperm to live long enough to make it there. The female sperm although slow can live the longest in the acidic environment creating a better chance of making it to the egg. The further down the egg manages to make it into the uterus say day 15 increases your odds of having a boy if your husband ejact. further inside creating a shorter trip for the male sperm which are the quickest but weakest in the living under such acidic conditions. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Yes on the 12 -14 day from your last menstrual period have intercourse , that's when we are most fertile. Before intercourse douche with baking soda and warm water which helps to keep the sperm nice and healthy and makes it a good enviornment to conceive. Another tip, baking soda for a boy and white vinegar douche for a girl. It works---I got the boy I wanted and my girlfriend got hers , too. Best of Luck !!!!

Have sex every second day so that the sperm count can rebuild itself, and stay laying down for at least 20 minutes after sex. Also you have a better chance of conceiving if you have an orgasm. Hope this helps & Good Luck.

Keep track of the woman's cycle. Just circle the first day on a calendar, no big deal. Later if you are no pregnant yet, this info will be helpful.

Try and convince yourself you NEVER want to get pregnant! Or just for fun do it in the back of the car or maybe 'risque' places and have a laugh.
When you ain't trying it happens soon enough!

check sperm count, also check when is your most fertile day. once you got all those figured out, have the male partner abstain from sex for a few days prior to your most fertile day. then go at it :)

Have sex every other day. That keeps sperm counts up and covers you whenever you ovulate. Also try to enjoy it.

Men are at their sexual peak early in the morning, so I would recommend trying to have sex in the morning.
