N8tiv3 B@ll@ was right on target so she gets best answer. The answer is, When Virginia plays Clemson at Clemson. Virginias away color is Orange and Clemsons color is orange but they wore white at home.

maybe because both teams had the color orange, and the fans were going for their team that was in white that had a little orange on their uniforms. because u no when u r playing home games u have to were white (or ur littest color, like lite blue or something) and the school colors are probably like orange, black, and or white that both have the same colors.
