I had a breast reduction in May and I still have next to no feeling in my nipples. Does anyone know if the feeling will ever come back to normal

Did you have your nipples removed (FNG=Free Nipple Graft) during your surgery?

It may take AT LEAST a year to get nipple sensation back.

Have you asked your PS about this?

I had my breast reduction in May too, but I could feel my nipples immediately after the surgery. In fact, my surgeon came in and tapped on them to make sure that I had feeling. You SHOULD have feeling! You need to call your surgeon and ask them why you don't, because they need to fix that! Good luck!

I am due to have Breast Reduction surgery soon and my surgeon advised me that if you lose sensitivity it can take up to 12 months for the feeling to come back. I would recommend discussing it with your surgeon at your next appointment.
