If your eyes are big, you might not need an eyeliner. You can work with just shadows! You do this by applying the shadow with a small brush or a q-tip under your eye and a light touch on the upper lids. It's very easy and you have every option for colors-though a dark brown, purple, or green (depending on skin tone) would be nice. The great thing about this is that you can highlight with a slightly lighter or darker shade to give any effect you want!
Most makeup sellers have tips for this on their websites!

It depends- how brown are your eyes? Are they sort of amber? Hazel? Are they rich and chocolately? Or are they slightly pale or greenish? Are they slightly gold?
You should also take your skin color into account. Are you tan? Pale? Normal? Try a light or golden brown if you have reasonably light brownish eyes and pale skin (or simply pale skin and not chocolate brown color). Also, if you are tan, then you can get away with a thin line of rich chocolately brown. Accentuate your golden rown eyes with a light or even slightly gold eyeliner.
Another thing to take into account is how you apply it and how thickly or thinly you apply it. I reccomend to never ever go thick. Make a nice thin line from the outward corner and then move slowly in anout 2/3 of the way, gradually getting thinnner. Also, you should try and smudge it out a bit but clean up the edges and make sure it isn't to thick. Just experiment and you'll find the one that's right for you.

Try black or brown. Use a good brand eyeliner too like Maybelline or Revlon so they last longer. Go to Maybelline.com and go to the HOW TO section to find out good ways to wear eyeliner. That's where I always go when I have make-up application troubles!

Try using a liner brush and smudging a dark shadow for a smoky look. I like deep plum myself, but I have blue eyes. Charcoals and navies are pretty as well, and the shadow is a nice softer alternative to pencils. You don't want a pencil that is too harsh and avoid cream pencils at all costs they run like crazy! Good luck.

Darker eyeliner than your eye color is the best way to go.

A fine, thin line halfway across the upper lid and lower lid makes your eyes look bigger. Whatever you choose to do, don't use too much or it will smudge and then you get that racoon look.

I always use black eyeliner with a small amount of green eyeshadow and brown or black mascara and get compliments on that.

darker liner on the whole top and only halfway from the outside corner on the bottom. all on the bottom will make your eyes look smaller.
