I am a lot happier, but it could be better: a career in computers so I can acquire my independence. I have never had my own place. I, at age 38, am stuck at home due to being unable to acquire a chance to pove myself. Fir 14 years, I've been working in restaurants.
Employers would rather give countless chances to addicts of no disabilities than to men,an epileptic who---from '95 to '99--had 30 seizures and missed a day of work.
Hopefully, however, I can get the job at Walgreen Distribution in March and have my way out of here.
I am however, free of the emotional turmoil that was brought on via childhood ridicule from family and schoolmates. Everyone judged me by disabilities that I have had since I was born. It wasn't even donas if I have ever used them as a crutch either. I have alwayse my best. I have always thrive. I got "D" in typing in 11th grade and turned it into 35 wpm in adulthood. I went from D's in history to being called "walking encyclopedia" as an adult.

no I am not happy at all. I got hit by a truck while walking home 20 months ago, had to quit school, have been at home suffering since( was on crutches for 11 months), have 4 operations so far and still face more. I wanted to return to school but they won't let me get on a payment plan for money already owed even though this semester is already paid for.
No job, no unemployment or anything. I just hate this and it not only makes me unhappy but I'm also becoming bitter now.

Yes, now I am happy - or shall I say content and sated. hasn't always been like this - trust me. But for now, life seems to be giving back a lot of positive things - Work is going on nicely and I have the prospect of a promotion in the next month, my children are doing brilliantly well in school and in their extra curricular activities. My husband is also settled in his work - so yes I am happy with life now

yes i am very happy because Ive seen a lot of horrible things in my time and with each one taught me to live for today ive worried myself sick in the past and got nowhere plus if you walk round with a glum face you seem to attract bad luck then its a downward spiral all you need to do is understand why these things happen and it makes it so much easier to move on always remember there is always a reason and the older you get the more you realise that

You've got to be! You've only got one life, one chance to make a difference, one chance to make your mark on this earth. This minute, this extact second in time will never be repeated again. I know bad things/terrible things happen to people but the only way we can truely win and be happy is if we always try our best.

Hell no!
happiness is a state of stagnation, those who stagnate cease to exist.
Unhappiness can drive people to attain thing that they would never have believed possible,. This applies to people, businesses, countries and nations,
