The only movie that I replay in my mind was an old Thin Man movie, the one with Jimmy Stewart.
The reason why is simple. Jimmy is always the good guy. He's always the hero, or the good friend, or the romantic love interest. Always.
This Thin Man movie, you watch it and you think Jimmy is being the good friend again, because it looks like he's trying to help this girl not go to jail for shooting this guy, but at the end, all that he did was to frame her, because she broke his heart! He was the bad guy!
I just can't forget that. It totally blew my mind.

Watching 2001 A Space Odyssey from the back seat of my parents car in my favorite pajamas at a Drive-In.
Also trying to hide the fact that I was wearing pajamas under my red windbreaker during the intermission when I went to play on the swings and slide they also had. The images from that movie and the whole Drive-In experience have stayed with me. Now that was a Movie... HAL open the pod bay doors, yikes !!!!!

"City of Angels." It just touches my heart, makes me cry every time I see it. I only watch it by chance, I do not have it on DVD... But I love it. Its plot may be impossible, but it's heart-wrenching nevertheless. I love to cry..

The scene I remember very clearly is when Meg Ryan's character opens the door and sees him, in the rain, bleeding. She realizes he has given up immortality for her love. It's just such an unbelievable moment and message.

Rain Man. It was such a beautiful capture of two brother's relationship. The shots in the film make you feel like you are right next to the actors.

elizabethtown is one of my all time faves -- i love the scene where they talk on the phone all night, and then instead of going to sleep they meet up with each other at this gorgeous cliff overlooking a canyon and watch the sunrise
